If You Don’t Have a .CUE File
Some BIN files require a matching .CUE file to be converted properly. If you only have a .BIN file, you can easily create your own .CUE file in just a few seconds.
How to Create a .CUE File Manually
1. Open Notepad (Windows) or any basic text editor.
2. Paste the following template into the file:
FILE "yourfile.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
3. Replace yourfile.bin with the exact name of your BIN file.
4. Save the file as yourfile.cue in the same folder as your BIN file.
MODE1 vs MODE2 (Which One Should I Use?)
Most BIN files use MODE1/2352. If the game or disc image was originally mixed-mode (audio + data), you may need:
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
Try MODE1 first. If the resulting ISO doesn't work or seems incomplete, try MODE2.
General Troubleshooting
• Make sure your BIN and CUE file names match exactly.
• Files must be in the same folder.
• Avoid special characters in file names.
• Large or corrupted BIN files may produce incomplete ISOs.
• Conversions may fail if the BIN contains missing tracks or damaged sectors.
Why Your ISO Might Not Work
Our tool completes a technical conversion based on the source you provide. If the BIN was damaged, incomplete, or ripped incorrectly, the final ISO may not load. A conversion success means the file processed correctly — not that the original file was complete.
